We spent another week talking about apples. Your child should know all about the parts of the apple, the seasons of the apple tree, and what you can make with apples!
Monday- apple size sorting cut and paste, read The Apples on the Tree, introduced letter F and its' sound (it's a squeezer sound that comes when you put your top teeth on your bottom lip), cut and pasted words starting with F in journal, practiced arranging and counting cubes to 5.
Tuesday- Q-tip painted an apple picture, language group with Mrs. Kim- read Apple Trouble, read A Day at the Apple Orchard, practiced stretching words with bubblegum stretch, did following directions game, did number cha cha to practice counting to 5 and practiced counting to 5 in groups and in a line with goldfish and shark.
Wednesday- cut and paste numbers 1-5, read Apples, Apples, Apples, practiced clapping syllables of classmate names and fall words, wrote letter E in journal, practiced matching number to family picture size.
Thursday- did color by number, read The Apple Pie Tree, did rhyming game, did a float/sink experiment, did a match number to number of objects worksheet.

14- School Picture Day- All students will get picture taken for yearbook. Group pictures will be taken in the Spring.
21- Shelter in Place (stay in classroom) Drill at 11 and 3
26- Trunk or Treat- 6:00-8:00- Behind South Middle School (Please bring 1 canned good for each child participating).
